For Moving Company Owners

Your Moving Company Should Pay You, Not Own You

In 8 weeks, we map every job in your moving company, fix the one that's eating your time, and build a simple pricing and rate‑raise plan so you can pull tens of thousands more profit a year from the work you already do.

Sound Familiar?

If You're a Moving Company Owner, This Probably Sounds Familiar

  • Your phone never stops. Crews. Customers. Estimates. Scheduling.
  • You can't remember the last time you took a real week off without checking in constantly.
  • Half the jobs in the office live in your head, and when you try to hand something off, it comes back messed up.
  • You think you're making money, but some moves feel like you're working for free after labor, drive time, claims, and overhead.
  • You've built a real company, but it still feels like you own a job instead of a business.

Meanwhile:

  • You've got years in this business.
  • You carry the stress, the debt, the responsibility.
  • And it still feels like you own a job, not a business.

If that's you, keep reading.

What I'm about to show you is not another "get more customers" pitch.

It's an 8-week cleanup focused on:

  • Getting you out of the job that's killing your time
  • Making more money from the work you already do

Who I Am and Why This Exists

I'm not a generic consultant. I own a seven-figure logistics company myself and have lived through the operational problems that come with a growing physical-service business: work that isn't documented, office jobs that depend on the owner, messy billing, and underpriced work.

I dug myself out by doing exactly this: outlining every job in the business, creating Standard Operating Procedures for each job, hiring around them, and tightening pricing.

When I took over, it was basically a 24/7 job. I was dispatching nights and weekends and doing invoices by hand. Weekly invoicing alone was eating close to 10–12 hours per week. After I did this work, I brought on a small back-office team so I almost never touch the phones anymore, and we cut invoicing down to about 2 hours per week with clear SOPs and a simple system.

It's still a hard business, but it's not a hostage situation anymore.

On the money side, I use the same process I'm offering you to clean up underpriced work and tighten our rates. One simple rate change on a single customer added about $25,000 a year in profit by itself.

Moving companies may have a different revenue model than my logistics company, but the principle is the same: when you understand what each job and customer actually costs, you can stop undercharging and get paid properly for the work you already do.

I have not owned a moving company. What I have done is solve the same category of problems: owner dependence, unclear responsibilities, weak handoffs, and work that is not priced properly.

This 8-week cleanup is the shortcut I wish I'd had.

Picture This

3 to 6 months from now…

  • When a crew member or customer calls about the one job your staff handles, you don't get pulled in unless it's truly unusual.
  • You have a simple sheet that shows, in plain numbers, which moves, jobs, and customer accounts are worth keeping, which ones need a price increase, and which ones aren't worth taking again.
  • You've already sent the rate-increase emails to the right customers, and you know exactly when to follow up with the ones who haven't responded.
  • Instead of reacting all day, you spend your time on what you choose: slowing down, prepping for sale, or growing the parts that actually pay.

When someone asks, "What happens if you step away for a week?"

…you can say, "The business still runs."

That's what this is about.

Not making your life busier.

Making your moving company simpler, clearer, and finally worth all the effort you've already put in.

Why You're Stuck

Most moving-company owners aren't stuck because they're lazy.

They're stuck because nobody ever showed them how to turn a job into a business.

Here's what that looks like in real life:

Nothing is written down.

  • Dispatch and scheduling live in your head.
  • Billing, collections, and customer follow-up are a mix of habits, texts, and "how we've always done it."
  • When you try to train someone, you're winging it every time.

You can't see where the money goes.

  • Some moves look good but don't actually pay after labor, drive time, fuel, claims, and headaches.
  • You haven't raised rates in years because you're afraid to "rock the boat."
  • You don't have a simple way to see, "If I add another crew member or office person, what has to change to afford them?"

You've tried handing things off… and got burned.

  • You hired someone, trained them verbally, they made mistakes, and you took the job back.
  • So now you're convinced: "It's just easier if I do it myself."

None of that is your fault.

You were taught how to run moves, manage crews, and keep customers happy, not how to:

  • Outline every job
  • Turn it into simple steps
  • Hire around it
  • Price correctly so the whole thing makes sense

That's what we fix.

The Process

The 8-Week Moving Company Cleanup

This is a one-on-one, 8-week cleanup service I run for owner-led moving companies. We do three things, in order:

01

We go through your moving company

  • We make a simple outline of every job in the business: estimating, scheduling, dispatch, crew coordination, billing, collections, claims, customer calls, hiring, and more.
  • We mark who does what today, you versus staff.
  • Together we pick one job that's clearly eating your time and stressing you out.

This gives us a clear target instead of trying to "fix everything" at once.

02

We fix that one job so someone else can do it

  • Write 5–10 simple step-by-step documents for that job: what to do, when, and how.
  • Create a role sheet showing what the person is responsible for and what "good work" looks like.
  • Build the job ad, interview questions, and first-week checklist.

So you can finally hand that job to someone else and either breathe a little or spend your time on bigger opportunities.

03

We tighten your money on the work you already do

  • Review the types of moves, services, and customer accounts you currently handle to identify what is underpriced, profitable, borderline, or losing money.
  • Set up a simple quoting and profit sheet so you can see what each move actually makes after labor, drive time, fuel, supplies, claims, and overhead.
  • Build a practical pricing plan for both future quotes and existing repeat or commercial accounts, including where to raise prices, add minimums, charge properly for extras, or stop accepting work that does not make sense.

So when you're ready to hire, add another crew, or pay yourself more, you can see exactly what has to change in the numbers to make it work. This is usually where we uncover tens of thousands of dollars a year hiding in underpriced or losing work and turn it into a clear plan you can start collecting on over the next 90 days.

This isn't theory. It's you and me, week after week, cleaning up one job and your money picture until it's done.

Why This Works

What Makes This Different

Moving-company focused.

I don't work with gyms, dentists, or "every small business." This cleanup is built for owner-led moving companies with real office and operational complexity.

We fix the office, not just sell you more moves.

Most programs talk about "more leads." If the business is disorganized, more work just creates more problems. We repair the core jobs first.

One job, done right.

We don't pretend your whole life will be fixed in 8 weeks. We pick one job that's killing your time and make it handoff-ready.

Plain English, not consultant speak.

No buzzwords. Everything we build should be simple enough to hand to a normal person and say, "Follow this."

Built by someone who has operated a messy logistics business.

I own a seven-figure logistics company and have personally worked through the same categories of problems: unclear responsibilities, owner dependence, messy billing, and underpriced work. I dug out by documenting, delegating, and tightening rates. This is the shortcut I wish I'd had.

WHAT YOU GET

When you say "yes," here's everything included:

Seven deliverables built specifically for your moving company.

01

Business Job Outline & Constraint Callout

A one-page outline of every job in your moving company — estimating, scheduling, dispatch, crew coordination, billing, collections, claims, customer calls, and hiring — who does each job today, and the one job that is clearly jamming up the owner.

02

SOP Pack for One Job

Five to ten plain-English, step-by-step documents that make one important job easier for someone else to handle. The documents explain what to do, when to do it, and how to handle common exceptions without guessing.

03

Hiring Kit for That Job

A role sheet, job ad, moving-company-specific interview questions, and first-week checklist for hiring or transitioning someone into the role.

04

Daily/Weekly Check Sheet

A simple list you or a manager can review in minutes to see whether the job is being done properly without hovering or micromanaging.

05

12-Month Pricing Improvement Plan & Templates

A practical plan showing where to improve pricing over the next 12 months — including future quotes, minimum charges, travel or access fees, packing and add-on services, and commercial accounts — with ready-to-use email and call templates so pricing changes turn into cash instead of "someday" ideas.

06

Quoting & Profit Sheet

A simple tool to see what each move, job, or customer account actually makes after labor, drive time, fuel, supplies, claims, and overhead. Use it to identify profitable, borderline, underpriced, and losing work before accepting new jobs or agreeing to more work.

07

90-Day After-Cleanup Execution Plan

A clear plan for the 90 days after the cleanup — including when to hand off the job, train the new person, implement pricing changes, follow up with customers, and review the numbers.

Plus These Bonuses

These aren't fluff. They make the main work easier to use.

Owner Time-Back Tracker

A simple 90-day tracker to measure which responsibilities are being handed off, how many hours you recover, and where that time goes.

Rate-Increase Script Pack

Word-for-word email and phone scripts for communicating pricing changes to repeat customers, commercial accounts, and new customers.

Moving Company Office/Admin Interview Library

A library of interview questions specific to moving-company office and administrative roles, including scheduling, dispatch, billing, collections, and customer communication.

All three bonuses are included with the 8-Week Moving Company Cleanup.

MY GUARANTEE

The "Get It Built" Guarantee

By the end of 8 weeks, you will have all five of these in your hands:

  • 1.A complete outline of every job in your moving company and which one is actually jamming you up.
  • 2.A full SOP pack for one job, ready to hand off.
  • 3.A hiring kit for that job, including the role sheet, job ad, moving-company-specific interview questions, and first-week checklist.
  • 4.A practical pricing improvement plan with ready-to-use emails and call scripts.
  • 5.A quoting and profit sheet for reviewing your moves, jobs, customer accounts, and future work.

If we don't finish all five, I'll keep working with you at no extra cost until we do.

No small print.

No "gotchas."

I can't guarantee what you'll do with these tools.

But I can guarantee you'll have them, working and ready to use.

INVESTMENT

Let's talk money.

If you hired a decent local consultant to come in, sit with you for weeks, document your jobs, build hiring tools, and sort out your pricing, you'd easily spend $20,000+.

  • You'd still have to explain how your moving company works from scratch.
  • You'd still have to turn the recommendations into usable tools for your team.

That's why I do this as a focused, 8-week moving-company cleanup.

If all this did was:

  • Get 10–20 hours a week off your plate,
  • And add a few thousand dollars a month in profit from better pricing,

it would pay for itself very quickly.

If you can't step away from your moving company, you don't own it.

I only run a handful of these 8-week cleanups at a time so I can stay hands-on. If you want one of the next spots, click below and fill out the short form. We'll talk, make sure it's a fit, and if it is, get your start date on the calendar.

FAQ

Common Questions

Is this a group program?

No. It's one-on-one. It's you and me, working directly on your moving company each week for 8 weeks.

Do you work with any business, or just moving companies?

Just owner-led moving companies, generally local or regional businesses in the $500,000–$3 million revenue range. You should have enough staff, crews, or office complexity that you're still heavily involved in day-to-day operations. We'll determine fit on the call.

How much time will this take me each week?

Expect about 3–4 hours total during Weeks 1–2 for intake, pulling reports, and answering questions. Weeks 3–8 usually take about 1–2 hours per week for the working call and light homework. Most of the work is done by me between sessions. You review, give feedback, and approve.

Do I need to have my moving company figured out before starting?

No. The whole point is to figure it out together. You just need to be willing to show up, provide the information we need, and do the work.

What if I've already tried to document things and it didn't stick?

That's common. Documentation usually fails because it's too complicated, too generic, or never gets finished. We build simple, usable documents for the actual work in your moving company, not binders nobody reads.

What if I'm not sure which job to fix first?

That's exactly why we start by mapping the whole operation. We'll look at the time, stress, owner dependence, and handoff difficulty connected to each job, then pick the one that can make the biggest difference.

What if my moving company is too small for this?

If you're under $500,000 and the business is mostly just you doing everything yourself with little operational complexity, the full 8-week cleanup may be more than you need right now. But if you already have crews, office work, scheduling, billing, or customer volume that keeps pulling you back in, it may still be a fit. We'll be honest about that on the call and point you toward a simpler option if needed.

What if the numbers show I can't afford to hire someone right now?

Then we'll be honest about that. The quoting and profit sheet will show what needs to change before a hire makes sense. Sometimes the first step is tightening prices, correcting estimates, improving minimum charges, or cleaning up existing work before adding another person.

Do you guarantee profit increases?

I don't control your customers or what you choose to implement, so I don't guarantee a specific dollar amount. I do guarantee that you'll walk away with the agreed job outline, SOP pack, hiring kit, pricing plan, quoting and profit sheet, and 90-day execution plan. If they're not done in 8 weeks, I keep working with you at no extra charge until they are.

Can I just hire a regular consultant or coach instead?

You can. Most will charge you to advise you, but you'll still have to explain how your moving company works and turn the recommendations into documents your team can use. This is hands-on work. We build the actual job outline, SOPs, hiring tools, pricing plan, and profit sheet with you.

What happens after the 8 weeks?

You get your deliverables plus a 90-day execution plan. If you want further help, there are optional next steps such as a larger company systemization sprint, done-for-you hiring, or a periodic pricing and rate-review campaign. None of that is required to get value from the 8-week cleanup.

How do we get started?

Click the button, answer a few questions about your moving company, and we'll schedule a short call. We'll walk through where you're stuck, make sure this is a fit, and, if it is, pick a start date and handle the paperwork.
